May 31st to 2nd June, Yarmouth Old Gaffers Festival - Yarmouth town and harbour will be celebrating the 50th year of Old Gaffers.  Enjoy another fun filled weekend of entertainment and interesting things to see and do for the whole family.  The harbour will be filled with visiting gaff rigged vessels, some of which will race in the Round the Island on the Saturday.
 

Saturday 1st June - Round the Island Race, the annual one-day yacht race around the Isle of Wight attracts over 1,700 boats and around 16,000 sailors, making it one of the largest yacht races in  the world.  Book breakfast for £15.00 per person and view the race from our garden.

 

Sunday Lunch - join us for a delicious Sunday al fresco lunch on the waters edge - 3 course's £25.95 & 2 course's £20.95.   After lunch enjoy a stroll around this quaint harbour town or stride out over the Island's cliff-top's.

 

Make the George your base and enjoy a few exciting days exploring.  The Island is only 23 miles long by 13 miles wide but there are activities as diverse as walking through the shady grounds of Osbourne House, Queen Victoria's favourite home ("My little Paradise" she once described it), visiting Carisbrooke Castle where Charles I was imprisoned or strolling along one of the many scenic footpaths.
