Completely delicious!We visited the George for the second time this weekend and can’t rave enough about the improvements. We were given a light and airy room with a balcony overlooking the sea, comfy bed, luxury bathroom with huge shower and super clean.

Pure DelightMy wife and I stayed Friday night as "ordinary guests" and Saturday night as part of the celebrations. Our host had taken the whole hotel for the Saturday but the service and quality was the same for both nights.. Food on all occasions was delicious and served in a highly efficient manner. We can not speak highly enough of this establishment.
Faultless Food & ServiceRarely when you visit a restaurant will you find everything exactly as it should be, the menu is interesting, the welcome and service is first class and the food delivers in flavour, quality and appearance exactly what the menu promised.
Superb stay with top quality serviceArrived on a very wet and windy day, so we took our time to settle in to our room, which was huge! We went for a deluxe double and I'm pretty sure its the equivalent of a small house. The facilities were fantastic and the staff exceptional. Happy hour in the bar is very worth it on the cocktails and the breakfast was delicious.
StunningA large, light, airy room; the huge bathroom was another bonus, a rain shower and stunning tiles.
Sumptuously comfortable The rooms are sumptuously comfortable and every detail is scrutinised on a regular basis.. All in all very difficult to beat!
Great Views The room was well appointed, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Not to mention the great views over the Solent. Food on all occasions was delicious and served in a highly efficient manner.
Charm and welcomeThe hotel still embraces the charm and welcome of old alongside a beautifully restored interior.
